Stanley Markofsky, the founder of Skymark, has been actively involved in real estate development both through Skymark and as a joint venture partner primarily in the state of Florida for more than three decades, and as such has seen various real estate business cycles.

He has also built and developed successful properties in Maryland, Tennessee and Ontario, Canada.

He has developed neighborhood communities including single-family homes, PUD’s, villas and town homes, multi-family residential apartments and various condo projects. Additionally Mr. Markofsky has developed marketable properties including commercial plazas in conjunction with the PUD’s. His experience also encompasses management of apartment complexes in both Maryland and South Florida.

Mr. Markofsky is a member of various local, regional and national builder organizations where he is recognized as a leader in highest and best use land analysis and development. He was honored In 1987 as Businessman of the Year by the City of North Miami for his innovative planning and design of a multifaceted rental apartment complex.
